Tours Update

I was asked, why we don't have tour pricing yet. It's because we have yet to get all the terms from the transportation companies. The problem is the bus company won't give me pricing until I give them a head count. It's a chicken and egg thing. The tours we listed on the web site are promoted for anybody to go on any day, but be aware, Thursday tour will be the PIMA AIR AND SPACE Museum. All the other tours I posted are what I believe to be the most popular destinations in and around the Tucson area, so we have gobs of choices to mix it up, museums, nature, science, shopping, you name it. If you follow the link to the various tour locations you can find their pricing but be aware none will include any transportation cost. We will have more details to follow once we have a sign up sheet for tours posted for the Thursday tour.
There is very good chance we can get UBER and LYFT prices to each location and the travel times so people can go a-la-cart, perfect for small family groups. There are some who have indicated they are driving into Tucson and may be able to offer some ride share options, but again, we won't know how many are driving until the week of the event. Some may choose to fly in, and rent a car. It's nearly impossible to predict all the variables.
What I can do to help organize this is to start a sign up list for people to select their tours of interest and on which days. Once I figure out how to do that on the website, I will make another post to announce the TOURS Sign Up! In the mean time, I encourage folks to go scan through the choices and navigate the links to the websites and get an idea for what is offered and what the ticket prices look like. Visit Tucson is helping us get a price break with all of these places, with one exception, Karchner Caverns, because it is a state park and they have their own thing. 73 Joel - KD6W
